HTH Runners is an informal group of people who use running to make and build friendships, improve physical and mental wellbeing, and engage with our community. Everyone is welcome, including complete beginners.
Mondays // 7.00-8pm
We meet for an informal get-together on Monday evenings from 7-8pm. During the autumn/winter we're meeting on the far end of the St Leonards promenade, adjacent to Grosvenor Gardens (where free parking is available).
This isn't a formal training session - we don't have qualified coaches - but is suitable for all levels of running experience, because it's structured so that we can all take part in the same activities together, with each individual working at the level appropriate to them.
Saturdays // 9am
We take part in the Hastings Parkrun, a free timed 5K event which takes place on the seafront at 9am every Saturday - participants are welcome to walk, jog or run the course. The event also starts at the far end of the St Leonards promenade, adjacent to Grosvenor Gardens. For more information, visit http://www.parkrun.org.uk/hastings/.
If you don't feel ready to run 5K then volunteering at this community event is another great way to get involved (and all participants are encouraged to volunteer from time-to-time).
