9.30am Traditional Sung Eucharist. Followed by refreshments.
The Eucharist is the central act of Christian worship and reveals the heart of the Christian faith. The word Eucharist means thanksgiving. It is an act of celebration. At the Sung Eucharist, with its resonant and beautiful words, we participate in long established rhythms of prayer and worship. Some of the singing is choir led, with the congregation participating through prayerful listening. The service includes psalms, bible readings, a short talk, an anthem, and prayers for the world and the church and for those in need.
11.15am Informal service with a café, live music and kids groups.
Come and join us for our informal service at 11.15am. We start with a café, serving pastries and hot drinks. This is a great place to meet new people and catch up with friends. The band then starts up for a time of worship, followed by a short life-impacting talk and an opportunity to pray.
The children stay for the café and the start of worship, before going to groups tailored for their age.
