Sundays

The heartbeat of our church life

Our Sunday service is a big part of the life of HTH church. Each week we open our doors to anyone who would like to come along. We open our doors at 10:00 every Sunday for tea, coffee, and pastries, before our service kicks off at 10:30.

Our Services

Our services currently take place at our venue on Robertson Street, TN34 1HL.

We’re excited to continue worshipping together in this temporary space while our wonderful church building is restored and prepared for our move back in spring 2028.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Address

Our home on Sundays is Robertson Street TN34 1HJ (next to Racer Computers). Join us from 10:00 am in the cafe for tea, coffee and pastries before the service begins at 10:30 am.

Children & Families

We have lots at HTH for children and youth on Sundays: come along to our 10:30 service, where children and youth go out to their groups during the service to have fun and learn more about following Jesus together.

When you arrive please head to the café area to register your child and collect their lanyard.

We’ll then begin the service all together as one big church family, including worship. After this, parents and carers will be invited to take their children to their designated groups and locations.

We look forward to welcoming the whole family!

Quiet Space for Babies and Carers

We also have a quiet space available for babies and their carers if you need somewhere a little calmer during the service.

It’s a comfortable place to feed, settle or relax with your little one, while still being able to follow the service via a live stream.

Buggy storage

We have buggy storage available in the cafe area, on the ground floor.

If you need any help finding the buggy storage or getting settled, a member of our Welcome Team will be very happy to assist you.

Accessibility

The Robertson Street entrance and ground floor are wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible, with a ramp. Two stairlifts provide access to the first floor/church space from Robertson Street. Alternative access is available on Cambridge Road with portable ramps when required. We’re doing our best to make sure our services in this temporary space are a place that anyone can call home. If you’re planning to visit and have specific needs please do get in touch to let us know how we can help accommodate you.

Assistance Dogs

Guide dogs, hearing dogs, and assistance dogs are welcome in the church at all times. There are lots of nice places around HTH to walk your furry friends but unless they’re assistance dogs they sadly wont be allowed into the church building itself.

Hearing loop

Unfortunately the venue does not currently have a hearing loop system. However, they are raising funds to install one and are welcoming donations towards this important accessibility improvement.

If you would like to support the fundraising, you can donate via the link below:

Help us do better

We always want to ensure that everyone feels welcome and able to access our services, but we know we won’t always succeed and can always improve. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to let us know how we can better accommodate you and help you to access our services.
