Every week, we open our doors to the vulnerable men and women in our town. Safehaven Women and Safehaven Men offers a friendly, comfortable and safe space for people to feel at home, relaxed and a valued member of society.

Safehaven Women

Safehaven Women is a peaceful, cosy, and comfortable space for women of our town to relax and enjoy. We hope that this safe space is a chance for women to feel supported and loved, to hang out, to chat and to be listened to over a hot drink and a piece of cake.
We offer hot tasty food, drinks, a clothing bank, sanitary products and other ‘giveaways’, when available.

Safehaven Women won 2 awards in 2019:
Love Britain and Ireland Premier Award for Social Justice (South East and London Community)
The Best of 1066 Community Award -Highly Commended.

Safehaven Men

Safehaven Men is a place where men in the town can come and feel at home and valued in a safe and secure space. It is our hope that we can help to build friendships, community and support through meeting together over a hot drink and a bacon roll in a relaxed café style atmosphere.

We offer a clothing bank and other ‘giveaways’ when available.
